Introduction

Opened in 2004, Lotus Day Spa is owned and operated by Mariana C. York, a Leesburg resident and 30-year licensed clinical esthetician and skin therapist. Mariana has trained at renowned skin care institutes in Europe, Canada, and the United States. Prior to opening Lotus Day Spa, Mariana operated a private salon in McLean, Virginia, specializing in intensive anti-aging renewing treatments, sun damage repair, lymphatic drainage, and microdermabrasion for both men and women.

Mariana is an acknowledged professional esthetician who has worked with, and received formal referrals from, plastic surgeons. She routinely provides lectures and training on clinical skin care.

Lotus Day Spa offers a variety of clinical skin care treatments and professional massage therapies.

Lotus Flower Symbolism
The lotus flower represents Past, Present and Future in that a faded flower (past) and a blooming flower (present) and a bud (future) may all exist on a single stem. The flower symbolizes all of the possibilities of life including healing, health and rejuvenation.
